Little Tokyo

I have nothing to blog so i started rummaging through all my photos from my visit to So*Cal this summer. Here's day 4, my cousin and I roamed around Little Tokyo in Downtown LA with our gear hoping we didn't look like stupid tourists. I'm sure either i looked like a creep tourist or a serious photographer. Hanging from one shoulder was my gear bag and little purse, the other shoulder had a vintage Minolta with a 300mm lens, and switching from my neck to my wrists was my digital canon. Picture that. I know Lorelei's little brother is so used to seeing me with a camera, he'll look me dead in the eye and dramatically shout, "WHO ARE YOU!?" when i have nothing, haha. But anyways, some of these images you may have already seen from my post when i came back, enjoy.
both film & digital

can you figure out what it says?

my cousin made me do it...

i can only imagine how gorgeous this area is at night

Super Moon 2013

So I started keeping my tripod in my truck at all times, i literally never take it out because most times i something cool happens and either i dont have my camera or i dont have my tripod which sucks especially when its a moment i really need it. Like, a few weeks ago Lorelei and I went to the park with some friends late at night to play Hide and Clap. Have you seen The Conjuring?  but anyways, the moon was gorgeous. It was bigger than i've ever seen, and it wasn't normal color, it was red! and i didnt have anything with me except my crappy cell phone camera, which was dead. Well luckily the night of the super moon i had my camera, tripod, AND my remote. I was prepared. Loreleis house was the perfect spot to see the moon. So we set up on the back of my truck and figured out the settings to get the moon. We were literally being attacked by mosquitoes and she was out of bug spray so we spent only about 15 minutes capturing the moon before it disappeared behind dark clouds.

8/11/2013

Well with this bipolar oklahoma weather, its been a while since i've gone out on an adventure and taken some photos. Yesterday was actually a bit sunny, so i decided to take my sister on a walk down the road before it decided to rain again. Which it did this morning and now it's sunny?? i don't understand. but anyways, i didnt get to walk all the way down to the cornfield cause it was getting dark and i was getting attacked by mosquitoes. So here are some shots... i say some there's actually a lot. oh welllll

i love this area. this is the shed, and theres 3 barns and the house. it's abandoned and a place i want to have a shoot at.

britni attracted 3 cats, and this guy was just chillen with us in the bed of my truck.
