Golden Field of Heaven

A while back i discovered this awesome field of sunflowers and decided it was a must to visit this year. So last minute i dragged mariah along with me to visit. The three hour drive felt never ending, but when we arrived the numb butts and sleeping feet were totally worth it. The fields went on for miles. The most breathtaking thing i have ever laid eyes upon. I'm sure they are even more amazing as soon as they blossom, but even a week later they are still as gorgeous as can be. The sun was warm, the sky was cloudy, and boy was it humid. This blog post is reaaaaally, really long... and i also have some film to scan that i will get around to, eventually. So here's part one of the day, the digitals. Enjoy :)

Golden State of Mind

I have nothing to blog so i rummaged through photos from last year's trip back to Cali. I'm pretty bummed i didn't get to make a visit this year yet, it's still not over.... but anyways, it's now September, and the color green is slowly fading as the days goes by and California is all that's on my mind. I just want adventure. I want to see the few loved ones i still have back home. I want to capture everything that catches my eyes. I want to be in the city, where everyone is a character of their own. From the busy streets, and the many faces i'll never see again, and the many lights that light up the town.

But for now i'm still here, so enjoy these photos i've gathered to share with you.
